The Acai Berry is a powerful antioxidant and does not naturally contain resveratrol. As far as resveratrol goes, the evidence points toward it being a potent cancer fighter.

Resveratrol is used in a lot of supplements largely because research have shown that it has lots of health benefits. It is actually present in grapevine and other food sources. And is in fact also marketed as something that can increase one´s life span, slows down aging, among others.
However, researchers are divided on whether or not it can stimulate the growth of cancer cells. Some say they do. Some say they actually stop it.
I don´t really know what to say, except that it´s your decision which of these research findings to believe.
By the way, acai supplements need not necessarily come with this ingredient.
