Research on how to prevent Alzheimers has really ramped up in the last few years since the doctors in this video have shown a connection between Alzheimers and Antioxidants.

Resveratrol Removes Amyloid-beta Peptides That Cause The Plaques
In the November 11th, 2005 issue of The Journal of Biological Chemistry, a study by the Litwin-Zucker Research Center showed evidence that adding resveratrol to the cells that produce amyloid-beta dramatically reduced the levels of amyloid-beta.
When asked about ways to prevent alzheimers disease, the doctors indicated that a reduction in amyloid-beta would lead to a reduction in the amyloid-beta peptides deposit in the brain. It is currently believed that this deposit is responsible for alzheimers.
The study concludes that resveratrol may be effective in fighting other human amyloid related diseases like Huntington’s, Parkinson’s and prion diseases.
